PrestaRock at PS Summit 2026: where the future of PrestaShop and Sylius takes shape

On 4–5 November, Lyon (France) hosts PS Summit 2026: the first event organised jointly by PrestaShop and Sylius. PrestaRock is taking part as a Silver Sponsor and an official partner of both platforms. Here is what the event is about, what we expect from it and why it matters for our clients.

What is PS Summit?

PS Summit is a new event by PrestaShop and Sylius that brings the communities of both open-source e-commerce platforms together in one place. The organisers sum it up simply: two ecosystems, one big event.

The two platforms complement each other:

• PrestaShop powers more than 230,000 online stores worldwide. It is the choice of small and medium-sized businesses looking for a proven, cost-effective and future-proof solution.
• Sylius powers more than 10,000 online stores. It is built for more complex projects: B2B portals, marketplaces and custom business platforms that need flexibility and full control.

The event takes place at the Centre de Congrès de Lyon, and the organisers expect more than 500 e-commerce professionals: merchants, agencies, developers, CTOs and decision-makers.

Two days, two different programmes

4 November: workshops and hackathon. The first day is for developers. In the morning, hands-on workshops let PrestaShop developers get to know Sylius and Sylius developers get to know PrestaShop. In the afternoon, a cross-framework hackathon puts the new knowledge to the test by building real features.

5 November: conferences and exhibition. The second day is open to the whole e-commerce ecosystem. It features technical and business talks, a partner exhibition and plenty of opportunities to meet key players in the sector.

What we are looking forward to most

PrestaShop 10 and Sylius 3. The event opens with a keynote by PrestaShop and Sylius CEO Mikołaj Król. According to the organisers, he will reveal what is on the horizon for both platforms, including a first look at PrestaShop 10 and Sylius 3. This will be some of the most important news of the year for anyone running a store on either platform.

AI in e-commerce. In their call for speakers, the organisers highlighted AI and commerce as one of the key topics. We are most interested not in theory but in what already works in practice: how AI helps with product content, search, customer service and saving the team’s time.

Architecture, performance and success stories. The programme also covers technical deep-dives, case studies, live demos and merchant success stories. We expect to bring back ideas on how to make existing online stores faster, more reliable and easier to shop in.
