Furniture and homeware reimagined with Lonas.lt, a digitally enhanced showroom experience for Lithuanian interiors
LONAS is one of the best examples of how our feature-proof PrestaShop framework can be fully transformed into a unique and brand-aligned design. Unlike traditional e-commerce structures, this implementation is tailored around how customers shop for mattresses (čiužiniai), beds, and furniture—focusing on personalization, trust, and guided decision-making.
This experience’s core is a custom-built mattress selection quiz, explicitly developed for LONAS. The quiz guides users toward the most suitable product options based on user preferences, body type, sleep position, and comfort needs. This dramatically improves conversion while reducing product return rates, and it reflects how modern shoppers want to buy high-involvement products like mattresses.
The category page structure was completely reimagined while balancing performance with creative freedom while staying within our framework. These pages feature marketing-driven content blocks, benefit highlights, and campaign visuals, all strategically positioned to educate and convert without overwhelming the user.
On the product page, we developed a one-of-a-kind layout with interactive showreels and hotspot pins placed on product images. Each pin explains key material or design features—helping customers understand exactly what sets LONAS products apart and why they’re worth the investment.
One of the most complex challenges was solving the product customization logic and performance implications. Many LONAS products are built-to-order with multiple configuration options (size, firmness, fabric, accessories), which we handled using optimized build-up logic and caching strategies. This ensures the site remains fast and responsive—even with highly dynamic product combinations.
The entire e-commerce system is integrated with the LONAS factory ERP system. As these products are manufactured only after being ordered, the integration automatically calculates production timelines, shows expected delivery dates, and allows users to select a delivery day during checkout using LONAS’ custom transport options.
Checkout is handled through our proven 4+1 step PrestaShop checkout flow, which was further adapted for LONAS to accommodate custom delivery logic, address suggestions, and promo messaging. It’s built to streamline the user journey while managing the complexity of made-to-order logistics.
We also implemented a complete email automation system connected to a third-party mailing platform. This includes welcome sequences, post-purchase flows, and personalized marketing messages triggered by user behavior and order history—ensuring ongoing engagement and repeat sales through intelligent automation.
The LONAS project showcases the full power of our PrestaShop framework: flexible in design, scalable in performance, deeply integrated with operational systems, and built to support high-ticket, customizable products with confidence and elegance.
